On the occasion of her starring role in the upcoming film My Week with Marilyn, Contributing Editor Adam Green spends time with the actress to talk about movies, motherhood, and taking on the sexiest icon of all time. Photographed by Annie Leibovitz.

On not being as guarded during interviews: "I feel like something has changed for me, but it's a new change, so it's going to be hard for me to describe. Maybe it has something to do with turning 30. I don't feel as shy or nervous or self-conscious. I have more confidence that I can handle what life brings me. I don't feel scared to have an idea and express it. I feel giddy about it because it's a complete transformation. It's like I've found my voice."

On how daunting playing such an iconic figure was: "As soon as I finished the script [for My Week with Marilyn], I knew that I wanted to do it, and then I spent six months trying to talk myself out of it. But I always knew that I never really had a choice. I've started to believe that you get the piece of material that you were ready for."

On gaining weight to approximate Marilyn's curves: "Unfortunately, it went right to my face (puffs up cheeks to illustrate). So at some point it became a question of, Do I want my face to look like Marilyn Monroe's or my hips?" (She opted for the former and filled out the latter with foam padding.)

Doutzen Kroes Marries Sunnery James

Victoria's Secret model Doutzen Kroes and her boyfriend, producer Sunnery James, married on Sunday, PEOPLE reports.

The wedding took place in front of about 30 of the model's friends and family members in her hometown of Eastermar in the Netherlands, reports the New York Post and Dutch news station AT5.

Kroes Tweeted, "Today is a day to never forget! My girlfriends are the best!!!"

Kroes, 25, is about seven months pregnant with a boy. For wedding presents, the couple asked guests to donate to dance4life or the World Wildlife Fund.

Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester is the face of Vera Wang's next fragrance. Page Six reports that the actress has shoot the ad campaign with photographer Carter Smith and will make $3 million dollars for the two-year contract!

Leighton's ads will launch in magazines next spring, with the fragrance available in department stores next summer reports HL

An industry insider said, "This is a huge deal for a young star and one that will turn some of Leighton's 'Gossip Girl' castmates green with envy."

LANVIN For H&M Collection & Video

LANVIN H&M collection

H&M has announced that its next designer collaboration will be with Lanvin, one of the most influential brands of the 21st century. Designed by Lanvin's artistic director Alber Elbaz, and menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver the collection will go on sale in around 200 H&M stores. It will be launched November 20th in North America and on November 23rd in the rest of the world. The collection of both womenswear and menswear will be revealed to the world on November 2, just three weeks before the clothes hit the store, making the launch of Lanvin for H&M among the most anticipated fashion events of the year.

"H&M approached us to collaborate, and see if we could translate the dream we created at Lanvin to a wider audience, not just a dress for less. I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public. This has been an exceptional exercise, where two companies at opposite poles can work together because we share the same philosophy of bringing joy and beauty to men and women around the world." Alber Elbaz, artistic director of Lanvin.
