Rod Stewart marries longtime girlfriend

Let’s hope the third time is the charm for Rod Stewart. On Saturday in Italy, the 62-year-old singer married 36-year-old model Penny Lancaster, his girlfriend of seven years and the mother of his son Alastair.

Life’s a whole lot simpler when you don’t have a child to care for, but that doesn’t seem to have stopped Nicole Richie from getting pregnant. Pregnancy speculation has been surrounding the starlet for a few weeks because of her suddenly protruding belly. Now, in addition to the baby, Nicole could have a shotgun wedding to plan. Page Six is reporting that she may be engaged to boyfriend Joel Madden of Good Charlotte.

Amy Winehouse is thrilled to be a married woman – and she’s telling the whole world. Well, at least she told the Mirror’s 3AM Girls. Says Amy, being Mrs. Blake Fielder-Civil is a dream come true.

While in London for the Ivor Novello awards, Amy said, "I'm so happy, girls. I married the most wonderful guy in the world. We always knew we were going to be together for ever and I just can't tell you how happy we both are."

Winehouse didn’t go for a typical wedding dress when she wed Fielder-Civil in Miami, though she did wear white. She said, "I was wearing a little white Betsey Johnson dress with red anchors all over it. It wasn't new but it's one of my favourite dresses and I always wanted to wear it on my big day…Blake looked so handsome in his suit.�

Amy said that her spur of the moment ceremony left out a lot of the details – including wedding rings. "We haven't even had time to get the rings yet so we're going to Tiffany's to get my engagement ring re-sized and then we'll pick up our wedding bands together,� she said.

Amy explained that she and Blake plan on having a big celebration in England to make up for not being able to invite everyone to her Miami ceremony. She said, "Our wedding was all about us and it's something that we'd both been planning for a while. We just wanted to go away and do something with no fuss…We're gonna do the whole big thing for everyone over here.�

“The Hills� are alive with the sound of wedding bells. Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, co-stars of the MTV reality show follow-up to “Laguna Beach,� are engaged. They have been dating for eight months.

23-year-old Pratt proposed to 20-year-old Montag last week in Santa Barbara, reports Us Weekly. Pratt presented Montag with a diamond-encrusted platinum band with a pink stone at the Bacara Resort & Spa. An insider told Us, “[Heidi is] over the moon!"

Last month Heidi’s mother, Darlene Egelhoff, spoke to Radar magazine about her daughter’s relationship with Spencer. She claims that despite Spencer’s villainous portrayal on “The Hills,� he is actually a good boyfriend. Egelhoff said, “He's not a bad guy at all—that's all in the magic of editing. In fact, he adores Heidi and waits on her hand and foot, and she'd be with nothing less.�
