Since the departure of Star Jones in 2006, “The View��? has been without an African American co-host. Now, according to the LA Times, the show is adding two new African Americans into the mix, Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd, both of whom have made several guest appearances on "The View."

Brody Jenner and Spencer Pratt no longer friends

The evil coupling of Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag of “The Hills��? has caused another friendship to come to an end. Us Weekly claims that Pratt and Brody Jenner are no longer pals. Pratt and Montag’s relationship has also notoriously broken up former BFFs Montag and Lauren Conrad. Jenner and Pratt had been friends for ten years. Pratt has also been Jenner's manager, publicist, stylist and agent.

Eddie Murphy and his girlfriend of less than one year, Tracey Edmonds are engaged. OK! magazine is reporting that the 46-year-old funnyman proposed to 40-year-old Edmonds on Wednesday with a “massive��? yellow diamond ring from Cartier, estimated to be 8 carats.

Usher's wedding to Tameka Foster canceled

He was scheduled to have a lavish wedding on Saturday in the Hamptons, but 28-year-old R&B star Usher (Raymond) isn’t confessing why he didn’t go through with marrying his 37-year-old stylist Tameka Foster. Instead, his rep issued a vague statement about the canceled nuptials that read, "It was announced today that the wedding ceremony for Usher Raymond IV and Tameka Foster was canceled. No additional information will be given regarding the circumstances of the cancellation, but we hope the privacy of this matter will be respected."
