Jessica Simpson slams christian group |
Pop Star Jessica Simpson is hitting back at the Christian group "The Resistance," weeks after the conservative group called for her to re-shoot her 'slutty' video for "These Boots Are Made For Walking."
In the steamy video Jessica Simpson dances like a stripper, grinding her butt on old men, and kisses Willie Nelson. At the end of the video she prances around in a bikini while washing the General Lee.
"She should be ashamed of her self" says John Conner, spokesperson for 'The Resistance' and author of 'The Resistance Manifesto.' (TheResistanceManifesto.com)
"It's disappointing to have Jessica, a pastor's daughter and Christian role model, join the ranks of the 'singing strippers' such as Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera" explains Connor. "
Jessica Simpson hit back, saying "It didn't really surprise me because I grew up with a lot of that backlash. That's why I didn't end up going into the Christian music industry.
"I think that if they're really good Christians the judgment wouldn't be there."

Heels taking a toll on Mariah Carey? |
Years of pumping in extra high heels has taken a toll on Mariah Carey's feet reports Female First. Whether it be a Golfing lesson, thread mill work out or music video, the Pop Diva dons a heel, and rightfully so, heels are hot. The Bosh loves a woman in pumps. On the set on her steamy new video Shake It Off, the star had to be carried around in the arms of a muscle hunk (we imagine) due to hurting feet.
According to Femalefirst, she couldn't walk in the high-heeled shoes she chose for the shoot. Carey reportedly told a TV crew covering the shoot that she was in agony "I can't walk in these shoes and it's not because I'm being a diva... Laugh all you want, my feet hurt," she was quoted as saying.

Exposing Cisco Internet flaw |
Computer hackers angered by Cisco's attempts to hide news of a flaw that could allow an attacker to take control of the Cisco Systems routers that direct traffic across much of the Internet are working hard to discover and map out the vulnerability reports Reuters.
Security researcher Michael Lynn first described the flaw on Wednesday at the Black Hat conference over the objections of Cisco and his former employer, Internet Security Systems Inc. Lynn helped Cisco develop a fix but wanted to discuss it publicly to raise awareness of the problem, according to associates, he quit his job with ISS so he could talk freely.
The hackers apparently have no intention of hijacking e-commerce payments, reading private e-mail, or launching any of the other malicious attacks that could be possible by exploiting the flaw. They want to illustrate the need for Cisco customers to update their software to defend against such possibilities. Many Cisco customers have postponed the difficult process because it could require them to unplug entirely from the Internet.
Cisco's routers direct traffic across at least 60 percent of the Internet.

Fox expects Paula Abdul to return |
The Fox network said on Thursday that an "independent counsel" will look into whether American Idol judge Paula Abdul had an affair with former contestant Corey Clark , and whether she advised him on his performances while he was a contestant on the show in 2003, the Associated Press reports. Corey Clark went public with his allegations on a special edition of the news magazine "Prime-time Live" carried in May by rival network ABC. FOX Entertainment President Peter Liguori said the show's credibility "extraordinarily important to us".
"Any allegations against this show we take quite seriously," according to The Associated Press. Abdul was recently part of another FOX talent show, So You Think You Can Dance, and Liguori said that auditions for the fifth season of Idol would proceed as planned in August reports People Magazine.
The probe may not be completed before production begins on the upcoming fourth season of "American Idol," set to air in January 2006, Liguori said.
"At this point, we have nothing that specifically says she shouldn't be showing up for work," he said.
