Nick Lachey made headlines with his recent revealing interview with Rolling Stone. Though Nick claims in the article that he still loves Jessica Simpson and that he would “marry her all over again,� Jessica was infuriated about the story - perhaps because Nick said he wasn’t sure if the blonde bombshell had cheated on him.
A source for Us Weekly says that Jessica felt the interview was a betrayal. "They promised each other they wouldn't kiss-and-tell," the insider said. Simpson was so distressed by Nick’s story that she cried uncontrollably, "barely able to breathe," said a Life & Style Weekly source. ""She didn't think he would do that…She was devastated, heartbroken," another friend told People magazine.
L&S claims that Nick made a heart-to-heart phone call to Jessica after the story came out. He decided to make the call “out of respect,� a source told the tabloid. "He felt bad that she was upset,� a friend told People. “[But] Nick didn't apologize, because the things he said only demonstrate that he loves her."
Us Weekly, meanwhile, claims that Nick is very worried about Jessica. "When you see someone pretending to be happy, but you know they aren't really happy, you get concerned. He can't help but worry about her," one of Nick’s friends said.
The article didn’t just upset Jessica. Her rumored fling, Adam Levine of Maroon 5 was also disturbed by it. A friend of Adam’s told L&S, “He was like, Is Nick crazy? Adam told Jess, ‘Nick will never take responsibility. He’ll blame [your father]. He’ll blame you. He’ll blame Newlyweds, the media, whatever. But he’ll never admit that he had anything to do with the marriage failing.’�

More news is surfacing about new couple Jessica Simpson and Adam Levine of Maroon 5. In this week’s issue Us Weekly continues their story from earlier this month about the pair’s exploits at Chateau Marmont. The tabloid originally reported that Miss Simpson spent the night with Levine in at the hotel in January. Apparently they relived the occasion last Tuesday.
Jessica and Adam, who have been trying to keep their relationship a secret, were unable to contain their glee at being together on the evening of February 7. When loud noises emanated from their shared room, their secret was spilled. Hotel security had to tell the raucous young lovers to keep it down. The issue also confirms the rumor that Simpson and Levine were involved before she officially split from her ex-husband, Nick Lachey. Ouch.

Bachelor number one is Adam Levine of Maroon 5. If you follow gossip - and since you’re on the Bosh, I’m guessing you do - you’ve known for months that Jessica and Adam have chemistry. They reportedly hooked up while Jessica was still married to Nick Lachey and have since met up again. The downside to Levine, however, is that Jessica isn’t the only lady presumably sharing his bed. Kirsten Dunst has canoodled with him and Lindsay Lohan may have written about him in her recently-stolen diary.

According to Ben Widdicombe of the New York Daily News, on January 22nd, Lindsay Lohan left her diary at Hiro inside the Maritime Hotel. It was returned to her, but several pages were missing from it. Her rep told Widdicombe, "We appreciate the diary being returned, but unfortunately we are saddened by the fact that pages were stolen." Lohan’s people then threatened many major gossip outlets - including the Smoking Gun - with copyright infringement and violation of privacy should the diary’s contents be published.
The threat wasn’t enough to stop one fearless blogger, Velvet Rope Whore, from going ahead and releasing details about the missing entries, however. According to VRW, a friend of hers who works at Hiro was the culprit who snatched the pages and sent them to Widdicombe. The Hiro employee read her the entry, which she summarized.

Now that Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson are officially on the road to divorce, more and more allegations of their infidelities are coming out - and most paint Jessica as the cheater. The latest rumor matches Miss Simpson with Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine. Levine, who has also been linked to a couple of other famous blondes: actress Kirsten Dunst and tennis star Maria Sharapova, hooked up with Simpson in September 2004, says a source for the New York Daily News. During the night in question, Adam, Jessica, Jessica’s assistant/best friend, CaCee Cobb and Maroon 5 drummer, Ryan Dusick hung out at the Sunset Marquis Hotel in Los Angeles. The insider said, "Jessica and Adam were very close in the booth, and she kept putting her hand on his leg. It was obvious…that something weird was going on. A few days later, Adam was talking about how he and Jessica had 'gotten it on' in the hotel that night. Apparently it was just kind of a fling." Another witness commented on gossip website Perez Hilton: “Jessica was sitting next to Adam the whole night and she was obviously wasted.� Both Simpson’s and Levine’s reps denied that their clients were anything more than friends.
