SWIZZ BEATZ BEATZ GUSHES ABOUT KEYS MARRIAGE
ALICIA KEYS' new husband SWIZZ BEATZ has spoken of his "amazing" love
for the singer, insisting marriage has made him feel like a "better
man".
The No One hitmaker exchanged vows with the rap producer last month
(Jul10) in a romantic ceremony in Corsica, France and the singer is
expecting the couple's first child later this year (10).
Beatz reveals he feels "blessed" to have finally tied the knot with
the woman he loves, and is convinced their union can only grow
"stronger".
He tells MTV.com, "It's a blessing... I look at my relationship with
my wife as a union that's just connected... spiritually...
"Love is a word that's powerful but the feeling is even stronger. To
identify that feeling is something that's amazing because it doesn't
only come from your partner. It comes from your love for music, your
love for people, your love for a lot of things, and I think that once
you identify the feeling of love, you'll be a better person. I'm a
better man. I think that having love in your life, it just has that
effect. Because then you spread love. You can't enjoy love without
spreading love." (LR/WNWCM/ZN)

M.I.A. CALLS ON CLINTON FOR VISA HELP
M.I.A. has enlisted the help of U.S. Secretary of State HILLARY
CLINTON in her ongoing visa battles, after authorities refused the
rapper's mother permission to visit her newborn grandson.
The Paper Planes hitmaker has clashed with immigration officials
over her own status after courting controversy with her comments about
political unrest in Sri Lanka.
Now the star's family has been dragged into the visa dispute - her
mother Kala tried to visit M.I.A.'s baby son Ikhyd but was blocked
from entering America, prompting the rapper to call on Clinton for
help.
She tells Q magazine, "They've singled me out. They said my mum
would be fine if I just apologised to the Sri Lankan embassy. Which
I'm not gonna do. It's not like she actually knows how to make a
f**king bomb, strap it on and walk into Tesco's (supermarket)... We've
had Hillary Clinton involved. Hills got back (to us) and she was like,
'You know, it happens...'" (ZN/SKR/LR)

T.I. DETERMINED TO MAKE IT IN HOLLYWOOD
Rapper T.I. is deadly serious about becoming a movie star because he
wants to be more famous as a Hollywood player than a hip-hop hitmaker.
The Live Your Life hitmaker admits he's yet to make money as an
actor after earning small salaries for roles in films like ATL,
American Gangster and new movie Takers - but he's determined to become
a big star following his 2009 incarceration on illegal weapons
possession charges and is taking meetings with top executives in an
effort to to land big roles.
He tells the Los Angeles Times, "I ain't made no money in movies
yet, because of the fact that a movie usually takes about three or
four months to film. At the time of American Gangster, I was getting
$100,000 a show and doing four to five shows a week. And I only
probably got $100,000 for American Gangster something like that. But I
didn't mind. I wanted to do it.
"I'd rather be acting full time at 40 than rapping full time at 40.
I just think... it's more suited for a teenager than a 40 year old. My
values, principals, beliefs and things I consider important are worlds
away from where they was (sic) when I just came in the game."
But he appreciates he has a few misconceptions about himself to
change: "Some people see me as a distinguished young gentleman
entering into the next phase of manhood, and some people see me as a
young drug dealer-slash-thug who has managed to make his way into the
entertainment industry. It just depends on who you ask. " (KL/LAT/IG)
