The Directors Guild of America known for predicting Oscars like a psychic (In the 56-year history, this award has become one of Hollywood's most accurate forecasts for the Oscars. ) has voted Clint Eastwood as winner of its top award for directing boxing drama "Million Dollar Baby." Only six times of the guild honors has the winner failed to go on to receive the directing Oscar.
Eastwood's win, makes him a front-runner among the nominees for the Best Director Oscar. Clint Eastwood has won two Oscars so far: as director and as producer of "Unforgiven" (1992).
