Forbes have just rolled out their latest list for the Forbes Five: Hip-Hop’s Wealthiest Artists 2018 list and on the list Forbes have named JAY-Z as the richest rapper of all time with an estimated net-worth of $900 million.
according to Forbes, JAY-Z, who elevated from $810 million in 2017 to $900 million, reached nearly a billion primarily due to his stakes in Armand de Brignac champagne and D’Usse cognac.
In second place is Diddy, who Forbes has estimated to be worth $825 million. Diddy is thought to have amassed his near billionaire status through setting up multiple businesses throughout the years including his Ciroc Vodka deal, Revolt TV, and the growth of his DeLeon Tequila brand.
Even though Diddy is at rich as Jay-z it looks as though he will be soon to be taking the richest rapper crown off Jay-z as Forbes named Diddy as the highest paid musician of 2017 after earning $130 million in just one year.
Dr. Dre, Drake, and Eminem made it onto the Forbes Five: Hip-Hop’s Wealthiest Artists 2018 list. Dr. Dre lands has been put in number three with an estimated net worht of $770 Million whilst Drake and Eminem tie at $100 million.
