Hayden Christensen 'Vanishing on 7th Street' Trailer

A first look at Hayden Christensen and Thandie Newton in the new film Vanishing on 7th Street.

A massive power outage plunges the city of Detroit into total darkness and a disparate group of individuals find themselves alone. The entire city's population has vanished into thin air. Soon the daylight begins to disappear completely, and as the survivors gather in an abandoned tavern, they realize the darkness is out to get them, and only their rapidly diminishing light sources can keep them safe.

The film is out February 18.

Hayden Christensen is a major talent and is really stretching his talent and taking risks. His performance in this movie and proved to me that he will be and IS a great talent. I am confident that he WILL obtain that one role that will show the industry that he had the talent as a young man and HAS the talent still. He has a great fan base which is world-wide. It has been a joy to watch this guy grow and improve with each new role. It is also intriguing to me that he COULD have cashed in and done voluminous forgettable movies but has tried hard to choose as wisely as possible. He's had 5 #1 box office hits and 6-7 box office returns that were even or PLUS in dollars which in Hollywood IS successful. He's done 14 movies since 2000 so that's quite a nice record. I love his acting and he's just got something special, guess it's that "it" factor everyone talks about!

I am hoping that the writing and direction in this movie is worthwhile. HAYDEN has tried his best to stretch, grow and change but wiith the "glut" of new male actors, the competition is fierce for every half-way decent role. The BEST roles are still given to Tom Cruise, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Dillon, etc., etc. Seems they don't have to try, only receive. I am STILL confiident, though, that HAYDEN will get his chance and soon, he's worked very hard for it.
