BONO RECOVERS WITH HELP OF GELDOF'S DAD
U2 rocker BONO had a helping hand as he recovered from his recent
back injury - he received moral support from BOB GELDOF's dad.
The fellow Irishmen are old pals, and the Beautiful Day hitmaker
hung out with former Boomtown Rats frontman Geldof as he recuperated
from spinal surgery in May (10).
And Bono got some handy tips in how to avoid back strain - from
Geldof's father, who suffers similar medical problems.
Geldof tells Q magazine, "I was with him a few weeks ago in Ireland.
Bono always goes to see my dad because they get on great together. We
went to the pub. Bono was f**ked because of his back and my old man's
back was f**ked too, so I was going, 'Jesus, look at the pair of
