Kylie Minogue has met her nephew for the first time over the internet.

The ‘All the Lovers’ singer couldn’t wait until she had finished her European promotional tour for new album ‘Aphrodite’ to meet sister Dannii’s son Ethan – who was born in Melbourne, Australia, on Monday (05.07.10) – so the siblings took to their laptops and beamed the baby across the web.

And proud Aunt Kylie was delighted with her new nephew.

A source said: “When Kylie saw Ethan she said, ‘He’s gorgeous.’ ”

Dannii has now posted a picture of the baby – her first child with British boyfriend Kris Smith, 31 - on twitter so all her fans can meet the new arrival.

She wrote: “Hey everyone thanks for all your wishes, we are loving baby Ethan and Kris is the best dad in the world. X”

Kylie is expected to head home to Australia later this month to meet her nephew in person.

The 41-year-old pop star previously confessed seeing Dannii, 38, pregnant made her broody.

The singer - who is currently dating Spanish model Andres Velencoso - said: “I'm not jealous but it does make me think, 'Aw, yeah!' I can't contain myself.”
