Robbie Williams has postponed his wedding.
The ‘Bodies’ singer and his fiancee, actress Ayda Field, initially
planned to marry on Valentine’s Day (14.02.10), but the pair
reportedly changed their plans when information about their nuptials
was made public.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Robbie and Ayda are
desperate to marry and start a new domesticated life together.
“But when their first day, February 14, escaped into the public
domain, Robbie hit the roof. He has played out his relationship with
Ayda largely behind closed doors and wanted it to stay that way.
“They don’t want a huge showbiz wedding with glossy magazines in
attendance and flashbulbs going off. So it is vitally important to
both of them that it stays private with only a handful of people
knowing where and when the event will be.”
Robbie, 36, and Ayda, 30, are now believed to be planning a new
intimate ceremony for the end of the year.
Recently Robbie displayed how much Ayda has changed him after he
agreed to quit his 60-a-day cigarette habit to boost their chances of
starting a family together.
A source said: "Ayda is very keen to start a family and knows the
damage tobacco can do to sperm.
"It's hard for Robbie to say no to the woman he loves at the best of
times. But it's even harder when, far from nagging him about smoking,
she gives practical support and offers to be there for him when he's
finding it tough.”
