It was love at first sight for Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi. They’ve been together for nearly two years and now they’re ready to tie the knot. According to the National Enquirer, DeGeneres and de Rossi are currently planning a summer wedding.

A source close to the couple says, "Ellen's never been happier…Ellen and Portia have settled into a comfortable and loving domestic …The commitment ceremony is the next logical step."

The Enquirer claims that Ellen and Portia will wed in June in their new home in Montecito, a Spanish-style villa. Says the tabloid’s insider, "They're going to have a late afternoon outdoor wedding, possibly catered by Portia's favorite hotel, the San Ysidro Ranch." The wedding will be very low-key with only friends and family present.

Food isn’t the only aspect of the event that Portia is arranging. The Enquirer reports that she has been in charge of most of the wedding details, but has left the music and wine planning to Ellen. DeGeneres, who is close with Elton John’s lyricist, Bernie Taupin, is hoping to enlist Elton to sing at the reception. She has also asked Jonny Abrahams, the DJ on her show, to act as DJ at the reception as well.
