Nick and Vanessa cuddle up in Mexico

By now you’ve probably seen the pictures of Nick Lachey getting frisky with Vanessa Minnillo, the star of his “What’s Left of Me� video, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The pictures of their steamy vacation surfaced several days after it took place, but no details were really available about the couple’s first trip together. Now sources for Star magazine have gotten the dirt.

Nick and Vanessa stayed at Las Ventanas, the resort favored by famous Jennifers like Lopez and Aniston. The couple’s oceanfront suite cost a cool $2 grand a night. Lachey and Minnillo relished the privacy of the hotel and spent most of their time enjoying each other’s company. An insider told Star, "Then they turned in early each night, strolling hand-in-hand back to their suite. There was a sensual mood to everything they did." The source dished out more gossip on Nick and Vanessa’s romantic moments, claiming, "They were drinking [cocktails] from the same straw…[and] feeding each other and whispering.

But it turns out Vanessa wasn’t the only woman on Nick’s mind in Mexico. An acquaintance of Nick’s other rumored fling, Kim Kardashian told Star that Nick "was still calling [Kim] every day" while on vacation with Vanessa. And Lachey’s ex, Jessica Simpson also crashed the party. She called Nick just before he boarded the plane for Mexico, claims a spy for Star. "He kept saying 'No, Jess, that's not fair. I don't want to get into this right now,'" according to the source.
