Alba chooses 'Jeannie' over 'Four' sequel

Movies

Alba won't return for 'FF2'
Though the Fantastic Four may have been number one at the box office its first weekend, it pretty much fell off the top ten after that. Still, that hasn't kept the studio from planning a sequel to the comic book film. According to Page Six, all the film's major stars, except for arguably the biggest name in the orignal: Jessica Alba, are in negotiations for a comeback. Alba is looking to expand her growing resume to include comedy. She'll be Jeannie in the movie version of the classic TV show, "I Dream of Jeannie" - a part that was originally intended for Kate Hudson. Jimmy Fallon will be playing the Captain Nelson role. He'll likely be just fine with sexy Alba calling him "master." (By Kate Lanahan)
