The last few days have not been kind to Hollywood's biggest leading men. First, Leonardo DiCaprio was hit with a bottle at a party and had to receive stitches. Now Tom Cruise has been the target of a "Punk'd"-style prank. While at the UK premiere of his blockbuster film, War of the Worlds, Cruise was in the middle of what he thought was an interview, however, his interviewer had other plans. The microphone that the man was using turned out to be a squirt gun with which he sprayed water into Cruise's face. In his shock, Cruise initially laughed off the incident, but then he became infuriated with the prankster. The actor attempted to reason with his "attacker", asking, "Why would you do that? Do you like thinking less of people, is that it?" When the man tried to walk away, Cruise grabbed him by the arm and said, "Don't run away. That's incredibly rude. I'm here giving you an interview and you do that ... it's incredibly rude." He eventually said to the man, "You're a jerk." The prankster and his accomplices were arrested and may be charged with assault this morning. The prank was intended for a British television show much like Ashton Kutcher's hit MTV show, "Punk'd".
