Hollywood Star Kevin Spacey has apologized to actor Anthony Rapp for allegedly sexually advancing on him when he was only 14 years old!

In a recent a Buzzfeed News post actor Anthony Rapp has alleged that Kevin Spacey made sexual advances on him when he was only 14 years old 30 years ago.

In an interview with buzzfeed Anthony Rapp who is now 46-year-old actor claims that he went to a party at Spacey’s apartment and as the party drew to an end when everyone else left, Spacey picked him up, placed him on his bed, and climbed on top of him, making a sexual advance.

“I don’t know if I would have used that language. But I was aware that he was trying to get with me sexually,” the actor said in the interview.

Anthony Rapp also has said that the reason why he has come forward now after 30 years was due to the recent Harvey Weinstein controversy.

“Part of what allowed the Harvey situation to occur was that there was this witting and unwitting conspiracy of silence,” he said. “The only way these things can continue is if there’s no attention being paid to it, if it’s getting forgotten.”

*It should be noted that these are just allegations made by Anthony Rapp. Kevin Spacey has not been arrested or convicted based upon these allegations and in a court of law everyone is deemed innocent until proven guilty.

In response to the allegations Kevin Spacey has apologized in a statement on twitter saying that he does not remember the encounter saying in a statement “I honestly do not remember the encounter, it would have been over 30 years ago,” he continued. “But if I did behave as he describes, I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior, and I am sorry for the feelings he describes having carried with him all these years.”.

In his statement Kevin Spcey also came out as gay, saying that he has had numerous romantic relationships with men throughout his life and that he is now living as a gay man.

UPDATE:Since the allegations Netflix has axed Kevin Spacey show House of Cards.
