Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony’s recent interest in baby supplies has confused the tabloids for weeks now. Though Jennifer and Marc have both gone on shopping sprees for little ones, Jennifer is looking just as fit as ever. If the actress/singer is pregnant, she’s doing quite a good job of covering it up. But a source for Star magazine is suggesting that Lopez’s recent purchases may be for an adopted child, not a biological one.
“She's been trying to get pregnant with Marc's baby for the last year with no luck,” says the source. “The older she gets, the more the deck is stacked against her having her own biological children." And it can’t help that Jennifer’s ex-fiancé, Ben Affleck recently became a father with his new wife, Jennifer Garner. Garner gave birth in December to daughter, Violet.
Another insider said that Jennifer has been inspired by other celebrities - like Meg Ryan and Angelina Jolie - who have chosen to adopt. "I think J.Lo would love to adopt a Puerto Rican baby, so the child can share its heritage with her and Marc," the source told Star.

Ben Affleck is loving being a father to baby Violet and is getting stuck
into his new role - by changing dirty nappies.
Affleck and his wife, actress Jennifer Garner, are said to be over the moon
with their daughter and are enjoying every minute of being parents.
A friend revealed: "Ben has been changing diapers. He's an amazing father.
"I don't know if I've ever seen anybody happier. He's already wrapped around
Violet's little finger."
The insider added to America's People magazine: "You took two of the best
people, who have the most love and affection for each other, and just when
you think the ultimate is the two of them finding each other, this little
girl came into their lives."
Ben and Jennifer, both 33, who married last June after meeting on the set of
'Daredevil', had both previously hinted they were expecting a girl.
Sexy Jennifer accidentally revealed her unborn baby was going to be female
on America's 'Tonight Show', admitting: "You can just start to feel really
pregnant, like you are the hugest person on the face of the planet. I felt
bigger and bigger, like she."
Jennifer - who had earlier refused to reveal the baby's sex - quickly
stopped mid-sentence and laughed.

Sources spilling to Star Magazine say Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony upcoming projects do not - unfortunately for Jennifer - include having a baby! Marc already has kids - a daughter, Arianna, 10, with an ex-girlfriend, and sons Cristian, 4, and Ryan, 2, with ex-wife Dayanara Torres. "Marc says that with his career and his existing kids, he can't devote time to a new baby right now, and that can't make Jennifer happy," the source adds.
The Dec. 1 birth of Violet Affleck, J.Lo's former fiancé Ben Affleck and his wife, Jennifer Garner - may have added extra tension to what sources say is a heartbreaking sore point between Lopez, 36, and Anthony, 37. Garner, 33, gave birth at a Los Angeles hospital after labor was induced Wednesday night, according to Us Weekly magazine. And, according to rumors, Affleck stayed all the time with his beautiful wife.
Lopez longs to have a baby with Marc, but he seemed to begin dragging his feet on the subject after their June 2004 wedding. "Jennifer has wanted to be a mom ever since they tied the knot," says a source. "But while Marc told her he wants children with her, every time J.Lo brings up the subject, he says the time isn't right."
A friend of the couple says the issue must be especially stressful given that "Jennifer has a strong mothering instinct. Having a baby would mean more to her than winning a Grammy or an Oscar."

Hand out the cigars, it's an Affleck! Ben Affleck and his wife, Jennifer Garner welcomed their first child into the world on Wednesday, Us Weekly reports. Us Weekly reported on its Web site that Violet Affleck's birth came after doctors induced labor at a Los Angeles hospital on Wednesday night, a week before Garner's expected due date. The magazine quoted an unidentified friend of the couple as saying "Ben was with her the entire time.''
While Ben and Jennifer never officially announced the sex of their child, gossip mongers and Garner fans knew for some time that it would be a girl. Jennifer slipped the knowledge while doing an interview with Jay Leno.
Word about Garner's pregnancy first began spreading in May, nine months into her relationship with Affleck, 33. (Affleck and Garner first worked together on the 2001 film "Pearl Harbor" and co-starred in the 2003 superhero action film "Daredevil," leading to Garner's big-screen spin-off role in this year's Elektra..)
Reps confirmed the pregnancy after the couple married June 29 in a small, low-key ceremony on the Turks and Caicos Islands reports People Magazine. .
The Houston-born actress filed for divorce from her first husband, actor Scott Foley, in 2003, after 2 1/2 years of marriage.
Affleck's publicist, Ken Sunshine, and Garner's spokeswoman, Nicole King, said the child was born at 6:26 p.m. ET Thursday, after several news outlets erroneously reported Garner had already given birth nearly five hours earlier.
