Angelina Jolie is going to have some happy kids. The actress has pledged to take a year off from work after she finishes filming her current project, Wanted, a drama co-starring Morgan Freeman and James McAvoy.
During a press conference in Cannes about her upcoming movie A Mighty Heart, Jolie said, “I'm working this summer. I'm in Prague for a few months, then I take two months off, then I work for two months. And then I take a year off."
Jolie spoke about her kids in an interview with Ann Curry to air on “Dateline” Wednesday. She said that she chooses to pay attention to her family rather than the gossip about her in the tabloids. Jolie told Curry, “Well, there are other things I'm more concerned about. My kids are healthy. I have a lot I want to do in this world. Before I do, I wanna do a lot of things as a woman, as a mom, and - and that's my focus. At the end of the day, I'm gonna - I'm gonna be dead one day. And what people say about me is gonna be what I accomplished and what I did in my life and how my children are.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will reportedly earn almost $2 million for photographs of their newly adopted son.
According to Radar magazine, Angelina - who adopted three-year-old Vietnamese orphan Pax Thien Jolie last week - is said to have agreed to sell pictures of her new son to People magazine for between $1.75 million and $2 million.
However, a People spokesperson has described that figure as "absurd".
The spokesperson added: "We don't comment on the specifics on any negotiations."
