Naomi Watts has been walking around with a King Kong-sized baby bump the last few weeks, but not anymore. The actress gave birth to a son on Thursday at 3:59 pm in Los Angeles.
Pregnancy seems to suit actress Naomi Watts. Watts showed up last Thursday at the opening of Escada’s flagship store in Beverly Hills looking luminous. For her appearance, the 38-year-old actress donned a dress similar to the Escada gown she wore to the Oscars in February (only days before she officially announced that she was expecting a child with her boyfriend, actor Liev Schreiber).
At the event, Watts told People magazine, "[I'm] just being relaxed and moving at a much slower pace and enjoying it. I'm just really happy to be pregnant." When asked if there had been any negative side effects to her pregnancy thus far, Naomi said, "I wish I had some wood to knock, but I just feel very energetic and strong. You know, I hear a lot of women say that it was difficult for them and I know everyone experiences it in a different way, but I'm surprised by my energy."
Watts confirmed what Schreiber had said about her a few days earlier. He told People, “[Naomi’s] great. In fact, I've never seen anyone handle a pregnancy so well. She's amazing."

A source says Live & Naomi will marry early this summer at their new home in bucolic Rhinebeck, NY.
“Liev bought an incredible house their and Naomi loves it so much that she’s thinking of having her wedding there,” says the source. “And the rumor that she wants to have the wedding there before the baby is true.”
Meanwhile, Naomi Watts' friends call her "Granny".

They'll have just 25 guests for the nuptials in Naomi's hometown of Sydney, Australia, with a lavish wedding reception for all their stateside friends after the baby is born."

The gossip column recently printed - and then retracted - a story that Schrieber had been cozying up to Winona Ryder. But even with the story annulled, the rumor circulated that Naomi and Liev were on the road to splitsville.
Now a source has told the New York Daily News that “[Liev]'s been telling people he's having 'girlfriend trouble.' [Naomi]'s been telling people to keep an eye out for new boyfriends."
Another source blames Liev’s increasing demands on Naomi for their tension. "He wants her to stop working entirely and have a baby. He wants to review all her script offers. He even likes her to look a certain way," the insider said.
Of course, the couple is on damage control over the rumors, denying that there are any problems between them. Addressing the allegation that he requires Watts to “look a certain way,” Schrieber said, "If anything, I'm grateful if Naomi gives me advice. Especially when it comes to dressing. She's a lot more experienced with what to wear." Watts’s rep said, “Everything is fine. This is total nonsense."

The sexy star, who plays blonde heroine Ann Darrow in the movie, says she
now wants to put aside her movie career and concentrate on her love life and
raising a family instead.
The beautiful actress, who is currently dating actor and director Liev
Schreiber, revealed: "It's not that I want to give up acting, but I do feel
I've made so much room in my life for this movie - and it has fulfilled me
in many ways but now I want to make room in my life for other things."
She added to website Dark Horizons: "I want to start a family. My private
life has suffered properly. And so that's sort of what makes me clear about
what I need."
Earlier this year, Naomi revealed she regretted not having children before
beginning her acting career.
She said: "I wish my career could have happened a little bit sooner - it
sort of delays everything.
"I have wanted a family since I was 19 - certainly to have children.
"It's just a natural urge for a woman to have kids. You look forward for
these things."
