Writers at ABC’s “Desperate Housewives” must have heard about the legend of Jared Leto’s well, to put it delicately, prowess. They’ve asked the actor - whose real life girlfriends have included Scarlett Johansson, Ashley Olsen and Lindsay Lohan - to guest star on the show. Cameos on “Housewives” are hard to come by. Another one of Leto’s ex’s, Cameron Diaz, was said to have been turned down for a part, as was pop star Britney Spears.

Eva Longoria’s character, Gabrielle will be the object of Leto’s affection on the show, reports British newspaper, the Sun. Jared will play a lusty grocery worker in four episodes next season. Nineteen-year-old Lindsay Lohan may have dissed her rival, 21-year-old Scarlett Johansson on a bathroom wall last month, but she seems to be emulating her lifestyle lately. Lindsay has been going after much older men, having been linked to Jared Leto (34), Bruce Willis (50), Colin Farrell (practically a child at 29) and Christian Slater (36). Scarlett famously declared that she preferred not to date anyone under the age of 30 - a comment she’s recently taken back.

Still, Lindsay seems all for the over-30 set herself. She and Leto (Johansson’s ex) have been rumored to be dating since last summer and are now doing a movie together: Chapter 27, about John Lennon’s death. Strange coincidence: John was Sean Lennon’s - another of Lindsay’s older hook ups - father.

According to Ben Widdicombe of the New York Daily News, on January 22nd, Lindsay Lohan left her diary at Hiro inside the Maritime Hotel. It was returned to her, but several pages were missing from it. Her rep told Widdicombe, "We appreciate the diary being returned, but unfortunately we are saddened by the fact that pages were stolen." Lohan’s people then threatened many major gossip outlets - including the Smoking Gun - with copyright infringement and violation of privacy should the diary’s contents be published.

The threat wasn’t enough to stop one fearless blogger, Velvet Rope Whore, from going ahead and releasing details about the missing entries, however. According to VRW, a friend of hers who works at Hiro was the culprit who snatched the pages and sent them to Widdicombe. The Hiro employee read her the entry, which she summarized.
