A source familiar with a custody hearing in the Bahamas this morning, where Birkhead, Howard K. Stern and Virgie Arthur were present, tells Star, “The judge ruled that Larry can take his daughter to the U.S. next week, as long as all the paperwork is in order.” That includes “correcting the birth certificate to show that Larry is the father, and not Howard,” and “getting Dannielynn a U.S. Passport.”

Birkhead is determined to raise Dannielynn alone after DNA tests proved he
is her biological father.
However, Anna Nicole's mother Virgie Arthur has indicated she may apply for
custody, saying: "I'm glad to find out who the father is, I just want to be
the grandmother. It's not over, but it's getting a lot better."
Birkhead doesn't want a custody battle and insists he will let Arthur visit
whenever she wants.
He told the 'Today' show: "We might go from one fight to another, but I'm
hoping that's not the case because there's only one dad, and I have no
problem with anyone that has good intentions being allowed to visit the baby
and be a part of the baby's life.

After the DNA results were announced on Tuesday, Birkhead said, " My baby's gonna be coming home pretty soon. Things are moving quickly here, and we'll see what happens." Stern, who currently has custody of the child, told reporters, "We're gonna do what we can to make sure that the best interests of Dannielynn are carried . And I'm going to do whatever I can to make sure that [Birkhead] gets sole custody…Larry can come over to the house and spend as much time with her as he wants to right now."

The starlet’s journals are among several pieces of Smith memorabilia going up for public auction in a few weeks by Heritage Auction Galleries of Dallas.
The first diary is a purple and green Hallmark hardback book that includes a handwritten message on the inside cover: “This diary belongs to Vickie Smith. Do Not Read!”
Smith, whose real name is Vickie Lynn Smith, noted the beginning of her relationship with Paul Marciano, chief executive of Guess, where she eventually replaced Claudia Schiffer in the company's jeans advertisements.
Howard K. Stern, has dropped his attempt to block the release of DNA test results that could reveal who is the father of Anna Nicole Smith's daughter.
Stern's withdrawal came after a round of questioning by the Bahamas' three-judge Court of Appeal made it appear that the court was going to reject his appeal, the Associated Press reports.
All three judges pointed out that Stern was late in filing his challenge and should have raised his objections before the Supreme Court ordered DNA testing.

Live 8 claims that it never received the promised fee and that “when Ms. Smith showed up to the Philadelphia concert to be integrated into the ABC broadcast…she was intoxicated and scantily clad in revealing attire that was totally inappropriate for a broadcast that would be seen by millions of people." According to the suit, Anna’s antics “damaged Live 8's reputation and goodwill in the entertainment industry by her unbecoming and erratic behavior." The Bosh can’t help but wonder what Live 8 was thinking in the first place. Who did they think they were agreeing to invite anyway, Dakota Fanning?
