Reese Witherspoon is on the October 2011 cover of Marie Claire magazine. The Oscar winner opens up about her divorce from Ryan Phillippe and her marriage to Jim Toth.

"I was hard on myself when I got divorced," Reese says in the October issue of Marie Claire about ending her relationship with the father of her two children. "And until I got remarried, I don't think I realized how stressed I was. I feel so much relief."

"I don't think I realized how stressed I was being a single parent. It was really, really stressful. It's not easy on anybody," she says.

Her new hubby Jim, a CAA agent.

"I got lucky. I did. I got very lucky, and he's so wonderful with the children," she says. "I'm very blessed."
