Courtney Love claims her estranged daughter has no confidence in her comeback.
The 45-year-old rocker is about to return to the music scene with new album 'Nobody's Daughter’ but received very little support from 17-year-old Frances Bean, who she lost custody of in December.
Courtney – the widow of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain – told Spin magazine: “One time, Frances was being mean and said, 'What are you going to do if the record fails?' Well, Frances, it can't fail because I love it, and I've worked really hard to make sure that I love it."
Courtney is currently embroiled in a custody battle over Frances, who is living with her grandmother Wendy O'Connor and Kurt’s sister Kimberly Dawn Cobain after Frances took out a restraining order against her mother.
Courtney - who has previously battled drug problems – admits the ongoing case and her estrangement from her daughter are both taking their toll on her.
She said: “I'm lost in a f***ing nightmare maze."
As well as the battle for her daughter, Courtney is also beset by financial problems, and last year claimed Kurt's $750 million legacy had been stolen from her.
