Vogue’s January issue, on newsstands now, features British actress Carey Mulligan. The “natural born talent” (as director Oliver Stone refers to her) is getting An Education in stardom, awards buzz, and, now, seriously cool style. In a quirky yet visually stunning spread edited by Vogue’s Creative Director, Grace Coddington, Mulligan takes on a new persona donning jackets by John Galliano and Oscar de la Renta suits. “I loved that on the shoot I got to create a character. I was asked how much I wanted to look like me, and I said, ‘Not really!’” Carrie tells Senior Fashion Writer Mark Holgate.
