JUDGE RULES PROSECUTORS CAN'T SHOW ANNA NICOLE SNAPSHOTS
A request by prosecutors in the ongoing ANNA NICOLE SMITH drug hearing to show candid photographs of the actress/model in court has been denied.
Superior Court Judge Robert J. Perry insisted the snaps, obtained by prosecutors, would "sensationalise" the hearing, which is aimed at determining whether Smith's doctors acted inappropriately when issuing her with prescription drugs.
Deputy District Attorney Renee Rose argued the photographs would help prove that one of the late star's doctors, Khristine Eroshevich, acted unprofessionally.
The nature of the snaps was not discussed, but it is believed at least one of the shots featured the psychiatrist taking a bath with Smith.
Eroshevich, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor and Smith's companion and lawyer Howard K. Stern are charged with conspiring to illegally provide Smith with prescription drugs. All three have have pleaded not guilty.
Smith died from an overdose of prescription pills in February, 2007. (KL/WNVACC/MT)
