CHANNING TATUM SCALDED ON FILM SET
CHANNING TATUM was left in agony while filming new movie THE EAGLE OF THE NINTH when he suffered a serious scalding on-set.
The G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra star was struggling with the cold temperatures while shooting scenes in the Scottish Highlands, so he devised a bizarre way to keep warm.
Tatum wore a wetsuit underneath his costume and asked aides to pour hot water into it to warm himself up.
But paramedics rushed to help the actor when one assistant forgot to cool the water down first.
A source tells the Daily Record, "Poor Channing seemed to be in a lot of pain. The paramedics on the set treated him immediately. But when they tried to change the dressing later, a massive patch of skin came off and they realised he'd need some rest to get over it."
Tatum took a day off from filming to recuperate, but he has since made a full recovery and has returned to set.
A spokesperson for the picture's production company Film4 says, "He's back doing his own stunts and everything. There are no hard feelings over what happened." (KD/WNTRE/LR)
