During their recent trip to the Middle East , Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt' visited the SOS Children's Village orphanage in Amman, Jordan, Oct. 1 to greet children after receiving an invitation from Her Majesty Queen Noor of Jordan, reports US Weekly.

"The SOS model of providing care for children without parental care is one of the best, as they are still in a family setting within their own country. We hope more people learn about their programs (sic) and give them support," said Jolie, 34, a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations' refugee agency, UNHCR.

The two have since returned to Los Angeles,
