Amy Winehouse off drugs for nearly a year?

According to Amy Winehouse's father Mitch, the singer has been off drugs for nearly a year.

He made the revelation while speaking to MPs about an upcoming documentary in which he investigates the rehabilitation services available to heroin addicts, reports the BBC.

Mitch told the Home Affairs committee that the current healthcare system fails to offer affordable treatment for drug users.

Amy is currently recording her as-yet-untitled third album, due out next year.
