Ryan Seacrest Gets Dumped



Don’t expect pop star Jesse McCartney to appear on American Idol anytime soon — at least not if Ryan Seacrest can help it. Jesse is dating the host’s ex-girlfriend, actress Jasmine Waltz! After two romantic trips to Europe in just months, Ryan, 34, and Jasmine, 27, were talking marriage, but they abruptly ended their relationship in early August and Jasmine quickly rebounded with Jesse, 22. “Ryan is heartbroken and was hoping to reconcile with Jasmine, but she’s already moved on and is serious with Jesse,” the close friend says. “He’ll never admit it, but Ryan was so upset about losing Jasmine, some people on the set believe he wants Jesse to [have nothing to do with] Idol.” On August 29, Jasmine was spotted making out with Jesse on a Malibu beach. She didn’t show as much public affection for Ryan in May.
