Michael Jackson spent almost £30,000 a month on prescription drugs?

Michael Jackson spent almost £30,000 a month on prescription drugs.
The singer reportedly consumed "mountains of medication" in the year leading
up to his death last week.
Many prescriptions were purchased under the fictitious name Omar Adams.
Others were paid for by the singer, but prescribed in the names of his aides
and nurses.
Britain's The Sun newspaper reports the singer - who died after suffering a
suspected cardiac arrest in his Los Angeles home - was taking narcotic pain
killer Vicodin, muscle relaxant Soma, sedative Xanax, antidepressant Zoloft,
anti-anxiety drug Paxil and heartburn pill Priolosec at the time of his
death.
Jackson's grieving relatives were reeling yesterday (29.06.09), as details
of the alleged autopsy report were leaked.
The report claimed the star weighed just 51kg when he died, was riddled with
needle marks, had only half-digested pills in his stomach, was completely
bald and covered in scars from at least 13 cosmetic procedures.
Family lawyer Brian Oxman told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "The autopsy
details we read are - as you can expect - unbelievably awful, horrifying
reading. The family response? 'Oh my God'. That's what they shouted. They
kept saying, 'Oh my God'.
"They suspected the drugs were harming Michael - but not as badly as this.
They are beside themselves, it's truly, truly, awful. What is crucial to
them is not the drug types Michael was taking, but the quantities he was
taking them in.
"This is a huge and major concern. During Michael's court trial he was
taking 40 Vicodin a day - and this may have even increased. It's an insane
amount of drugs to be given - and to be taken."
However, the Los Angeles County Coroner's office claims the details released
about the singer's autopsy are "completely untrue".
A statement said: "The report that is being published did not come from this
office. I don't know where the information came from, or who that
information came from. It is not accurate. Some of it is totally false."
The official results of the autopsy will not be released for four to six
weeks.
Meanwhile, sources claim it is looking "more and more likely" Jackson died
of an accidental drug overdose.
