Tom Hanks wants his next movie to be filmed in the Bahamas.
The ‘Angels and Demons’ actor – who stars in the movie prequel to 2006’s
‘The Da Vinci Code’, which was based on the novel by Dan Brown – is so keen
to shoot on the idyllic islands he has asked Dan to set his latest work
there.
Tom joked: “He won’t tell me where the action takes place, I keep giving him
hints. Nothing wrong with an adventure in the Bahamas!”
The 52-year-old star added he is open to reprising his role as Professor
Robert Langdon, an expert in religious iconography, but only if the mystery
is as good as the previous instalments.
He added to US TV show ‘Access Hollywood’: “If it makes sense I’ll be happy
to. It doesn’t come down to where it takes place or what the character is.
It really comes down to. Is it going to examine a theme that’s going to be
worthy of making another movie?”
