Kristin Davis doesn't want to get married
Kristin Davis doesn't want to get married because she is happy with her
onscreen spouses.
The 'Sex and the City' star - who is currently single - insists she feels
fulfilled because her acting roles have allowed her to live out the
experience of settling down.
Speaking at the Modern Bride Trendsetters Awards in New York, she said: "I'm
at a bridal event, but I'm not that marriage minded. I've gotten married so
many times on camera and all my onscreen husbands are wonderful."
Despite being "excited" that her co-star Sarah Jessica Parker - who has a
six-year-old son with husband Matthew Broderick - is expecting twin
daughters through a surrogate mother, Kristin has no desire to have
children.
She laughed: "We're very excited. I will get to hold one, when Sarah is
holding the other. I've put in my request."
The 44-year-old actress is hoping to see her 'Sex and the City' character
Charlotte York Goldenblatt have "more dogs but not more kids" in the
forthcoming sequel.
Kristin is delighted to be reprising her 'Sex and the City' role for another
movie because she loves hanging out with co-stars Sarah Jessica, Kim
Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon.
She said: "It's like getting to be with your girlfriends for 18 hours a day,
which, you know, nobody gets to do in their lives.
"We see each other when we're not working. Everyone thinks we don't, I don't
know why, maybe because we don't parade down the street when we're
together."
