Kiefer Sutherland allegedly headbutts a fashion designer
Kiefer Sutherland has allegedly headbutted a fashion designer and broken his
nose.
The '24' star reportedly got into an altercation with Proenza Schouler
designer Jack McCollough at an after-party for New York's Metropolitan
Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala at nightspot SubMercer .
It has been claimed Kiefer approached Jack after seeing him knock actress
Brooke Shields to the ground. Kiefer reportedly asked Jack to apologise,
prompting the designer to push Kiefer. It is then alleged Kiefer headbutted
Jack.
However, Brooke's representative has denied she was involved in the
incident.
The spokesperson said: "Nothing happened to her. Jack did nothing
inappropriate. It's not clear what caused Kiefer to do what he did. Jack did
absolutely nothing to her."
Police are currently investigating the incident, and Brooke will reportedly
be interviewed by officers today (06.05.09).
Following the incident, Jack was taken to hospital where he is still
receiving treatment.
Kiefer, 42, was jailed for 48 days in 2007 after pleading no contest to
driving under the influence (DUI).
He is still on probation in Los Angeles following the incident.
