Justin Timberlake forced girlfriend Jessica Biel to down shots of alcohol at
the weekend.
The pop heartthrob and the actress were guests at two separate birthday
parties, both held in Los Angeles’ Thompson Hotel.
A few hours into the evening Jessica, 27, was ready to ditch alcoholic
refreshments and switch to soft drinks, but 28-year-old Justin wanted to
carry on frivolities.
One fellow reveler told the New York Daily News newspaper: “Everyone was
downing shots of tequila, but Jessica said she didn’t want to drink anymore.
Justin good-naturedly insisted, so she pulled her hair back and drank up!”
Justin – who recently admitted he is “really lucky” to be dating Jessica,
his partner of around two years - is not the only celebrity who likes to
drink.
'Hot N Cold' singer Katy Perry recently boasted she can guzzle lots of beers
and rarely suffers from hangovers.
The 24-year-old star said: "I can drink eight beers and feel fine the next
day. I usually drink dark beer because I hate hangovers, and I can't drink
and work in the same schedule."
Lily Allen has confessed to relying on alcohol to give her confidence to
perform on stage, and joked she is “drunk” most of the time.
She said: "I'm drunk most of the time. I'm normally drunk when I get on
stage, but that's changing now. That was just the overbearing feeling last
time I toured. Just drunkenness."
