Ciara wants to duet with Janet Jackson.
The 'Love Sex Magic' singer says her "ultimate goal" is to sing on stage
with the 43-year-old star – the sister of pop legend Michael.
She said: "My dream is to collaborate with Janet Jackson. She was my big
idol growing up. She is amazing and no matter what, you can't forget what
she has contributed to American music.
"Janet is truly an icon. She was the only person I listened to as a kid,
along with her big brother Michael."
Ciara, 23, worked with Justin Timberlake on her latest single, and insists
she learnt a lot from the 'SexyBack' singer.
She explained: "Hooking up with Justin Timberlake taught me all about
hypnosis and how to get into people's minds. Now, thanks to JT, I feel like
I can almost hypnotise the listener, take you to another place and tease
you.
"Working with Justin was such a pleasure. He is so down-to-earth and people
don't realise how funny he is. He should have his own comedy show."
Ciara is currently working on her new album 'Fantasy Ride', planning a US
tour with Timberlake and preparing for her support slot on the UK leg of
Britney Spear's world tour in June.
She added to Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: "Supporting Britney in the UK
this summer will be my biggest challenge yet. I'm looking forward to sharing
the stage and rocking out with Brit. And I've got some amazing outfits to
rival her own."
