HUGH JACKMAN WON’T SHRINK BALLS FOR HIS ROLES

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds talk about bulking up for feature film “Wolverine” with Ben Lyons on E!

When Lyons comments it’s a good thing films aren’t run like major league baseball, and asks if Jackman used artificial means to bulk up for his role as Wolverine, Jackman says: “That's a good question, ‘cause I will never say it didn't cross my mind. I mean look at the bodies, but the idea of shrinking my balls for any role permanently, that's something I am not prepared to do.”

Regarding living up to Jackman’s physical standard, Reynolds says: “For me it’s fulfilling the physical requirement. You’re holding yourself to a standard much higher then anyone else could. You show up and there is a guy like Hugh Jackman who is getting in good shape, getting in great shape then there is whatever the hell he did.

Reynolds continues: “I tried to go toe-to-toe with Hugh a couple of times in the gym. It was one of the biggest mistakes of my life and I see it takes work. And its not just the working out, he would actually devour entire cattle farms while I was there, the only thing would be left are just the horns, just a whole field of horns.”
