Amy Winehouse’s home was broken in to.
Burglars smashed their way into the ‘Rehab’ singer’s North London property
at 4am - stealing £15,000 worth of her belongings
including recording equipment and five guitars – just a couple of days
before the singer returns to the UK from the Caribbean island of St Lucia.
A source said: “Amy is devastated. Some of the guitars are irreplaceable due
to their sentimental value. The flat is in a real state. It had been cleaned
up in preparation for her return.”
Police say there are, as yet, no leads in their bid to find the culprits.
A police spokesperson said: “No arrests have been made and our enquiries
continue.
Amy, 25, is expected to fly back to London this weekend to start work on her
third album, the follow-up to the worldwide hit ‘Back to Black’.
She is also set to visit her husband in prison in a bid to stop him filing
for divorce.
The troubled star has applied to see Blake Fielder-Civil - who is serving a
27-month sentence for perverting the course of justice and grievous bodily
harm – to try and convince him not to end their union of her alleged
infidelity.
Amy has been romantically linked to 21-year-old actor Josh Bowman and a
fitness instructor named Andrew while holidaying in St. Lucia.
