Simon Cowell is building a £10 million home in Barbados with mirrored walls
in the bedrooms.
The ‘American Idol’ judge has bought a 10-acre site for his new house, which
will boast six bedrooms, a swimming pool and a helipad.
A source said: “No expense will be spared. It will have all the latest
gizmos and boy toys. Cowell has been very specific when it comes to what he
wants and insisted on the mirror panels in the bedroom. He thinks they will
be hilarious and can’t wait to show them off.
“Simon will be personally overseeing the whole building process.”
Simon is “in love” with the Caribbean island, and already owns a £5 million
house there.
The source added to Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “He is undecided at
the moment about whether he will sell his other home or not. He’s so rich he
might keep both of them. It’s a luxury he can afford.”
Meanwhile, Simon’s half brother Tony is reportedly desperate to star on UK
TV talent show ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
Tony has already asked producers if he can appear on the next series of the
show, which is a direct rival of Simon’s series ‘The X Factor’.
A source said: “It’s early days but Tony’s been in touch and producers are
keen. The Cowell brothers going head-to-head would make great Saturday night
TV.”
