Lily Allen and her multi-millionaire beau, Jay Jopling are over , Daily Mail reports .

A source close to Lily tells MAIL: 'It's all over – it was basically just a holiday romance. Lily is going away for a year on tour, so it's unlikely she will have much time for a relationship.

'They have had a lot of fun together, but Lily has said it's finished.'

Although she is said to be putting on a brave front, the singer has told friends she is 'down' about the split.

'Lily had been on a mission to get Jay for more than four months,' another source revealed.

'She never normally sticks to a diet or weight-loss plan but she was so determined to get Jay she managed it.

'She even changed her hair just for Jay. She loves the sort of circles he moves in and she was pretty in awe of his lifestyle.'
