Josh Brolin apologizes to Russell Crowe

Josh Brolin has apologized for calling Russell Crowe an a##hole at the New York Film Critics Awards. The Milk star blamed his alcohol intake. Brolin took the stage at the dinner after award winner and Milk co-star Sean Penn poked fun at him, and decided to lash out at Crowe - his American Gangster co-star, stating, "Quite the actor, that Sean Penn. He's not an a**hole like Russell Crowe." He tells HollyScoop.com, "It was the ambiance of the room. I love him (Crowe). I think he's amazing. He's a friend. I was bummed out when I saw that."
