Sure, Jessica Alba makes getting back into pre-baby shape sound simple — but the 27-year-old’s plan really is a breeze. “I try to eat healthy and work out,” Jess, who gave birth to Honor last June, tells Life & Style. “I think chasing her around helps a lot. I try to stay active and take care of myself.”

Taking care of herself — and shedding the 35 to 40 pregnancy pounds from her 5-foot-6½ frame — meant following trainer Ramona Braganza’s 12-week 3-2-1 Baby Bulge Be Gone plan. The regimen, which Halle Berry, 42, also did after Nahla was born last March, involves workouts five to six times a week and a diet Braganza describes as “lean and clean.”

But Braganza doesn’t think of her plan — three meals, two snacks and a minimum of one liter of water daily — as a diet at all. “It’s a healthy way to eat,” she tells Life & Style, adding that nixing bloating foods helps clients see definition faster. And the only difference between a new mom’s plan and anyone else’s is caloric intake. A new mom needs about 1,700 a day, while others consume between 1,200 and 1,500.
