We're all guilty of it at one point or another: We tend to fall for the same type over and over again, even if it's never turned out well. Anne Hathaway has a new beau - and he might not have fallen that far from the tree her last one fell from.
That's not to say that Adam Shulman is a criminal or a con man, because he isn't. He is, however, an opportunist who tended to pursue heiresses during his time as a student at Brown University. If so, he must feel like he just hit the lottery.
Maybe Anne is just one of those girls who are drawn only to men that are bad for them. She stuck it out with Raffaele until the very end, only bailing when her peeps convinced her it was professional suicide otherwise. Since breaking things off with him she's worked hard to present the image of an innocent woman duped, but I'm not so sure about that. Something tells me that sweet, wholesome smile hides a party animal that will enjoy her time with Adam, but have no compunction about stepping over his corpse when he's outlived his usefulness.
