Charlotte Church gives birth to a boy

Charlotte Church has given birth to a boy.
The 22-year-old Welsh singer welcomed the 7lb 5oz tot into the world in the
early hours of 11.01.09.
According to Charlotte’s website, both mother and baby are “doing just fine”
after the midnight delivery in a birthing pool at the Glamorgan home she
shares with her rugby player boyfriend Gavin Henson.
The online message also said: “Charlotte has literally just this minute
phoned us to let us know she gave birth to a little boy.”
The name of the newborn, who was overdue, has not yet been announced. The
happy couple are reportedly planning to call him Alan Lloyd in honour of
Gavin’s father, while the 26-year-old Welsh sports ace shares the middle
name Lloyd with his dad.
A source said: “That name is the favourite.
“Lloyd would be a good choice for the middle name. It’s like a family
tradition.”
The couple, who have been together for around four years, are already
parents to 16-month-old daughter Ruby.
