RYAN PHILLIPPE IS SET TO PROPOSE Ryan Phillippe is preparing to pop the question to girlfriend Abbie Cornish. The 34-yearold, who called his split from first wife Reese Witherspoon “the worst time in my life,” is in Australia with her family for the holidays. “He plans to ask Abbie’s parents for her hand in marriage,” an insider tells In Touch. “He didn’t want to rush into it because he wanted to make sure that Reese and the kids are okay with it, and now that they are, he’s ready.” In fact, the engagement won’t come as a shock to anyone, except Abbie, 26. “He told his family the big news during Thanksgiving with his children, Ava and Deacon, there,” says the insider. Abbie and Ryan met on the set of Stop-Loss in 2006. |
