Ryan Gosling is still in love with Rachel McAdams.
The pair - who met on the set of romantic movie 'The Notebook' - split in
November but friends say the actor can't get over Rachel.
A source said: "Ryan is still close to the McAdams family and he still
speaks to Rachel, but they are both openly single. He still loves Rachel,
and she still loves him, but the timing is off and they can't make each
other happy right now."
The 32-year-old actress is currently in London filming Guy Ritchie's new
project 'Sherlock Holmes' with Robert Downey Junior and Jude Law, while
Gosling is focusing on a new career in music.
The source said: "Ryan is completely focused on putting out his album. He is
spending a lot of time in the recording studio."
The pair - who initially separated in 2007 after two years of dating -
briefly rekindled their romance in August, but their reconciliation was
short-lived.
