Rachel Hunter desperate to have a baby with her fiance.

The 39-year-old model is currently planning her wedding to Canadian ice hockey player Jarret Stoll, who is 13 years her junior, and has revealed she can’t wait to start a family with him.

Rachel - who has two children, Renee, 16, and Liam, 14, with ex-husband Rod Stewart – said: “We are planning a small, intimate family wedding late 2009. I do love being a mother and I know that Jarret would be an incredible dad. We're both looking forward to when that time comes but we will be waiting until after the wedding.”

Rachel and Jarret – who plays for the Los Angeles Kings – met at a 2006 ice hockey game, and Jarret claims he immediately knew he wanted to have a family with her.

He told Britain’s Hello! magazine: “When I met Rachel that first time, the thing that most impressed me was her relationship with her kids. I could tell that Rachel was a good person, a great mother and gorgeous. Seeing how great they are together makes you want to be a part of that.”

Rachel is adamant the sizeable age gap between the pair won’t cause any problems.

She said: “The age gap obviously isn't an issue for us because we wouldn't be getting married if it was a problem. Of course you talk about it but it was a very easy conversation.”
