Pink has spoken out about her interview with TVNZ, reporter Hannah Hodson.

Hodson quit her job as a reporter on TVNZ's current affairs show Close Up show on Friday following the October 23 interview.

Hodson - whose sister used to work as an assistant to the star - took an aggressive line of questioning.

Pink walked out, and her angry manager then reportedly tried to take the video tape but ended up in a scuffle with two TVNZ employees.

In an interview filmed with C4 directly after the fraught Close Up one, Pink told presenter Phil Bostwick she was trying to be polite but Hodson was "insane".

"She's f**king insane," Pink said.

"She lost her marbles somewhere between there and here ... Her sister used to work for me. Her sister no longer works for me."
