Naomi Watts to play Nobel Peace Prize winner Jody Williams

Naomi Watts is set to play Nobel Peace Prize winner Jody Williams in a new biopic.

The actress is in talks with Universal studio bosses to take on the role of outspoken Williams, a teacher who became known for her work on the International Campaign to Ban Landmines, for which she was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1997, reports contactmusic.com.

The movie, titled My Name Is Jody Williams, will be directed by Audrey Wells.

The British-Australian actress looked ready to pop as she walked with boy friend and baby father Liev Schreiber and their 15-month-old son, Alexander Peter Schreibe, in New York City.
