Hamilton beat Brazilian Felipe Massa to the title when he overtook German Timo Glock with just half a mile left to take the fifth place he needed in the Brazilian Grand Prix.
"I'm very emotional, I've cried. "I don't think it has hit home yet that I am the world champion. I can only thank God I managed to get past Glock and it was just amazing.
